Our Australian Botanicals Tableware range pairs modern, minimal shaped tableware with vibrant floral images. Each piece is decorated with Angus & Celeste’s signature botanical motifs, in macro view point, on a delicate speckled, milky glaze with an elegant satin finish.
The outer surface of our Australian Botanicals Tableware range has an unglazed clay finish, which is smooth to the touch and visually pleasing. Australia is home to some of the most unique flora and fauna, this table collection is a celebration of these extraordinary botanical elements.
The collection features an A&C favourite, the beautiful Muyan (Wurundjeri) or Silver Wattle Acacia dealbata, a tree that truly marks as an indicator of the changing of the seasons, producing its vibrant yellow blooms in months of June to August in the cooler parts of Naarm (greater Melbourne, Australia). The Wurundjeri people hold great symbolism for the Muyan – the silver wattle, where it symbolic of Elders. It is a plant where every part can be used, including its blossoms, gum, seeds, bark and wood. The plants keep the community strong and healthy, just as the Elders do with their wisdom and experience.
