Clay Origin Mugs are our classic pottery-style mugs for the true ceramic lover. Skilfully handcrafted in a streamlined, contemporary shape with a thick ribbon handle, they are available in two earthy glaze variations.
The Speckled Eggshell glaze features a galaxy of pock marked iron that spontaneously reveals its flecks through the organic style surface glaze, while the Burnt Sienna is a two-tone glaze effect that combines a vibrant speckled sienna glaze with a white ash glaze splash. The sienna subtly bleeds through white, revealing gradients of colour throughout the splash and subtle drips.
Each mug is individually hand-thrown in our partner pottery in Jiangxi Province China, by the talented husband and wife ceramic team Ji and Shi. Tactile to hold, these mugs are alive with natural beauty and are a joy to use every day. Take pleasure in getting to know your mugs character in morning ritual and daily use.
These mugs are crafted from caramel coloured local clay and possess an intrinsic beauty only possible in hand-made ceramics. Holding 350ml in volume, conveniently, these mugs are also dishwasher safe.
